Valgan 450mg Tablets is used to treat cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection of the retina (retinitis) in adult patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). It is also used for the prevention of CMV infection in patients who have received an organ transplant from a CMV-infected donor.
Valgan Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.You should drink plenty of water while on treatment with this medicine as it helps to prevent dehydration and kidney damage.

CELONIB 400MG contains Imatinib mesylate which belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids which reduces infl­ammation. It is indicated to treat chronic myeloid leukaemia and Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in adults and children.

Leukaemia is a cancer of white blood cells, the cells usually help the body to fight infection. CELONIB 400MG also used to treat myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative diseases, hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES) and/or chronic eosinophilic leukaemia, gastrointestinal stromal tumours and dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans in adults. Tyrosine kinases are proteins which act as chemical messengers that are used by the cancer cells to signal to each other for their growth. This medicine works by blocking this enzyme and stops the cancer cells from growing.

Take this medicine according to the dose and frequency as advised by your doctor. Swallow whole with a large glass of water. It can be taken with food. The common side effects are fluid retention, weight gain. Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you have kidney, liver or heart problems. It is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.  If you have to take an antacid or any other medicine, take it at a gap of at least 2 hours after taking the cancer medicine.
